Manager of Relationship Events

Alzheimer's Association

February 2025 - Ongoing

Event Planning & Management

  • Direct all aspects of large-scale signature events (Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia Gala) and wrap-around events, overseeing logistics, budgeting, procurement, timelines, and on-site execution

  • Lead venue sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and production to deliver high-quality guest experiences

  • Develop comprehensive run-of-show scripts, floor plans, staffing plans, and operational documents

  • Manage event registration systems, guest experience flow, seating strategy, and day-of problem solving

  • Ensure all events align with organizational goals, brand standards, and mission impact

Marketing

  • Create and manage all social media content for events, including strategy, copywriting, design, scheduling, and posting

  • Develop cohesive event messaging and storytelling across social, digital, print, and in-person platforms

  • Design all event marketing and sponsorship materials using Canva, including community sponsorship packets, save-the-dates, invitations, signage, and recognition assets

  • Produce scripts and branded content to support program flow, fundraising appeals, and guest engagement

  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event touchpoints to maximize visibility and impact

Volunteer Management

  • Recruit, train, and lead 50+ volunteers across event committees and day-of operations

  • Build, manage, and grow event committees, consistently meeting KPIs for engagement and leadership development

  • Assign roles, provide training, and oversee volunteer performance to ensure efficiency and accountability

  • Foster a mission-driven, inclusive volunteer culture that encourages retention and long-term involvement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all volunteer coordination and communications

Fundraising & Sponsorship Management

  • Achieve and exceed fundraising and sponsorship KPIs through strategic execution of ticket sales, sponsorships, auctions, and special appeals

  • Drive record-breaking fundraising results by implementing innovative, data-driven event strategies

  • Manage all sponsorships from acquisition through fulfillment, including prospecting, contracting, recognition, and stewardship

  • Oversee all fundraising components, including live and silent auctions, donations, and peer-to-peer initiatives

  • Track, analyze, and report fundraising performance to inform future planning and revenue growth

Website Management

  • Own and manage the event website using OneCause, supporting fundraising, registration, and guest experience across all event touchpoints

  • Run live and silent auctions on the platform, managing setup, inventory, bidding functionality, and real-time execution

  • Update attendee and sponsor profiles, assign tables and seating, and maintain accurate guest data

  • Create and manage all website materials, including event pages, donation forms, auction listings, and sponsor recognition

  • Monitor and maintain site functionality to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience for donors, sponsors, and attendees

Sales and Event Coordinator/ Systems Administrator

Sales 

  • Utilize CRM systems to manage and filter leads, ensuring potential opportunities are tracked and followed up effectively.

  • Monitor and execute billing processes, manage commissions, and apply rebates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Keep sales managers in compliance with corporate regulations by auditing sales activities and providing necessary support.

  • Support the team by streamlining workflows and maintaining a high standard of data integrity within all sales operations.

Marketing 

  • Design all marketing materials for the sales and events team using Canva, including proposals, "Know Before You Go" and "Know Before You Arrive" documents, commercials for reader boards, and signage across the hotel.

  • Stay within Hyatt’s branding guidelines to maintain a consistent and professional image while tailoring content to fit the property's unique needs.

  • Implement corporate initiatives intentionally, ensuring marketing efforts align with company-wide rollouts and communicating how these efforts translate at the property level.

Events

  • Use Social Tables to create detailed diagrams for internal meetings, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination among teams.

  • Manage event detailing through Envision Detailing, ensuring all logistical aspects are clearly outlined and executed flawlessly.

  • Work directly with meeting planners to ensure their events are meticulously planned and executed without any issues, delivering exceptional client satisfaction.

  • Coordinate event timelines and oversee day-of operations to ensure every detail aligns with client expectations.

Systems Administrator

  • Manage all aspects of Envision software, including maintaining the item catalog to reflect current offerings and changes in inventory.

  • Filter and organize leads within the system to streamline workflows and support the sales and events teams.

  • Provide training and technical support to ensure the team effectively utilizes Envision for operational success.

  • Continuously update and optimize system configurations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
